The field-work ethical assessment (including the Prior Informed Consent Form, a list of interview topics, the Information Sheet and the e-risk assessment) was approved by the Strathclyde University Ethical Board.

Most activities will be carried out remotely to guarantee the health and safety of the interviewer and interviewees. Face to face meetings will be minimized and the right moment to carry them out will be selected looking at the latest news on COVID-19. In situ research will be done if, and only if, the COVID-19 pandemic reduces enough for States and municipalities to lift travel restrictions and in person meetings restrictions.
